Pumps shall be vertically mounted, close-coupled, cantilever sump-type, with submerged casing (bottom suction). All pump components in contact with the fluid shall be of a corrosion resistant, non-metallic, thermoset construction utilizing continuous-strand fiberglass reinforcement for optimal strength and corrosion resistance.
Standard materials of construction include: VR-1, VR-1 BPO-DMA.
